Welcome to the Penn Undergraduate Math Society (PUMS) at the University of Pennsylvania! We are a student-run organization dedicated to promoting mathematics on Penn’s campus. We organize various events throughout the year to get students more involved with the mathematics department. Some of our past events have included faculty luncheons, an Integration Bee (like a spelling bee, but with integrals), and course advising events. We hope to give students a taste of not only the theoretical aspect of math but also its various applications in life. If you are interested in becoming part of the Penn math family, please join our listserv and Facebook group, where you’ll receive notices of upcoming events and talks, math department happenings, and information from corporate recruiters. You can also follow us on instagram!
If you’re interested in getting involved planning events with the PUMS board, please contact us.
